	Mark as Spam actionforanimals : 10/20/2009 6:39 PM even though you're still growing up, it's possible to be healthy as a vegetarian and get your protein from plant sources. you should check out our journal on "Tips and Resources for Parents" -- it has a lot of great basic info for becoming veg (including about protein) and you can share it with your mom. you and your mom can also look at the protein info on the Vegetarian Resource Group website -- it talks about getting enough protein as well as gives lists of plant-based protein sources that you should find very helpful: http://www.vrg.org/nutrition/protein.htm. the wesbite also has a lot of other good nutrition info, recipes, etc. that you can look at. hope this helps, and just let me know if you or your mom have any other questions or want more info.
	Mark as Spam actionforanimals : 10/20/2009 11:53 AM that's great that you're anti-fur and don't eat beef. what made you decide to not eat beef? and have you considered not eating other kinds of meat as well? chickens, pigs, turkeys, fish, etc. all suffer horribly just as cows do.
